Funny things that happen on the way to closing |

Somehow when the end of the month draws
near, mortgage brokers and real estate brokers are in a rush to get
things on the books.
So the last business day of any month can be crazy. 3 closings in
one day this past week - went to one to do the pre-closing
walk-through only to find the gate code had been changed since we
had been there 2 weeks previous so we couldn't get in! Was told by
the closing agent on another closing to get there early so we
arrived 30 minutes early and ended up waiting way past our
appointment time before they even had time to start our paperwork.
Aggravating! Rushing for no reason. When the buyers and sellers are
already tense and tired - just doesn't make sense to me.
